Jean Félix Mupande (born July 22, 1955 in Lubumbashi) is an experienced geologist from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is currently a Senior Geologist at GeoWise Consulting in Kinshasa, where he manages exploration projects and supervises technical studies. Previously, he held management positions, including Director General of the Mining Cadastre (2005-2023) and Director General of METTELSAT (1997-2001). He was also Technical Advisor to the President of the Republic.

He has a solid academic background, including a Bachelor's degree in Applied Geology (University of Lubumbashi), a Postgraduate Diploma in Earth Sciences (ITC, Netherlands), and an Executive Certificate in Corporate Finance (HEC, Paris). He is proficient in the fields of mineral exploration, remote sensing, mining law, and business management.

Jean Félix Mupande is active in professional organizations such as the National Order of Geologists of the DRC, AusIMM, and the Society of Economic Geologists. He has co-published several scientific articles and books, notably on geology and mineral resources in the DRC. He is fluent in French and English, and is interested in geopolitics, artificial intelligence, and prospective analysis. It continues to improve through courses and certifications in various fields, such as artificial intelligence, mining finance, and remote sensing.
