Luc Kayembe is a business administration Bachelor with over 8 years of experience in finance, logistics, and project management within the mining and energy sectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He began his career with a Swiss oil company in the DRC as a Junior Accountant, gaining hands-on experience in financial. He then joined a Swiss commodities trading firm as Deputy General Traffic, where he was responsible for coordinating logistics and managing export operations.
Luc later played a key role in the development and implementation of a mining project in Lualaba Province, managing financial investments, building strong relationships with financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. He also led community engagement initiatives to support sustainable project development. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at GEOCORE SARL, where he oversees both CAPEX and OPEX across the company’s mining project portfolio.
